HOMESCHOOL PROGRAM
Homeschooling offers a flexible and personalized approach to education, allowing parents to tailor learning to their child’s unique needs, interests, and pace. It provides an opportunity to step away from the one-size-fits-all structure of traditional schooling, fostering deeper family bonds and a more hands-on, real-world learning experience. At its core, homeschooling empowers families to prioritize their values—whether academic, moral, or creative—while giving children the freedom to explore subjects in depth and develop a genuine love for discovery. For many, it’s a chance to create a nurturing environment where education becomes a collaborative journey rather than a rigid requirement.

Our program is organized into four mixed-age Learning Houses, each with 12 to 14 students: kindergarten through second grade, third through fourth grade, fifth through sixth grade, and a newly added seventh and eighth grade house. Each student’s schedule is customized within their individual learning plan, enabling families to design a three-, four-, or five-day weekly routine that aligns with their specific needs and aspirations.
At our school, we embrace a holistic approach to learning, recognizing that every student has unique strengths. We focus on a variety of intelligences—moral, kinesthetic, aesthetic, musical, cognitive, and interpersonal—to provide diverse pathways for success. Our teaching strategy involves working with students both individually and in small or large groups, helping them explore academic subjects and engage in creative projects.
Our curriculum includes core classes in English Language Arts (ELA), Math, Social Studies, and Science, as well as enriching electives like Maker Studio, Art, Music, Technology, and Passion Projects. Additionally, we offer language immersion programs to broaden students' cultural and linguistic understanding.
We tailor our academic approach to meet the needs of each child, using a variety of curricula to support their interests, learning styles, and developmental needs. While we follow nationwide standards to ensure a meaningful and fluid curriculum, our primary goal is to prepare students for any path they choose in the future.
Creativity and inquiry are at the heart of our teaching philosophy. We believe that fostering imagination and encouraging students to explore ideas from different perspectives helps them generate innovative solutions to problems. Creativity extends beyond the arts and is an essential part of every subject. The creative process is woven into our curriculum, inspiring both our students and educators to push the boundaries of conventional learning.
In addition to classroom learning, we provide experiential education opportunities that extend beyond the school walls. Our teachers collaborate with experts in various fields and local organizations to create real-world learning experiences. Through these hands-on activities, students deepen their curiosity about the world while engaging in meaningful tasks that help them synthesize what they’ve learned. These experiences are often linked to classroom projects and provide a chance for students to engage in acts of service to others and nature. We believe these interactions, grounded in respect for the natural world, invigorate the human spirit and help students better understand their abilities, values, passions, and responsibilities.
Ultimately, our goal is to inspire students to express their ideas through writing, speaking, and presenting, while developing a deeper connection to their world and each other.
