The ABC’s and 1,2,3’s of cooking: This class is to teach basic understanding of healthy eating as students get hands-on experience in the kitchen! Learning the joy of cooking and bringing awareness of nutritional value are as important as exercising our body in an increasingly complex food market in today’s society. Participants will learn basic cooking methods as well as how to understand ingredient lists and nutritional value charts on packaging. Instructed by Nancy Brown a Nashville-based restauranteur and gourmet chef, we welcome students to join our most delicious and nutritious elective!
